I am Sorry

I am sorry for all the military families who have lost love ones to fighting for our freedom overseas. I too have lost fellow soldiers in my unit from terrorist attacks. I am sorry. Words cannot express the loss that no one in this world can feel. I'm sorry to the kids who have lost fathers or mothers do to combatants overseas. They will never have that parental figure there to take them to ball games or attend PTA meetings. I am sorry to the parents who have lost their children do to combatants. They too will not know if they would've ever had grand kids. I am sorry. I wonder why some soldiers make it back from overseas and others do not? Who decides these soldier's fate anyways? It's just not fair. Being deployed on three different occasions, I have been in some bad areas, sticky situations and my soldiers and I have made it home safe. What did I or they do different? I am sincerely sorry and know my apology cannot bring our troops back, may they all rest in peace...

  1. I love how sincere you are in this post. I have been blessed to see all of the soldiers in my family come home. There's a reason for everything, and sometimes we will never know why people have left us. Thank you for posting something that inspired me to post about ways to help our soldiers =]]
