Veterans Seeking Employment

Attention to all Veterans and current service members. Raymond James Stadium will be hosting the Central Florida Military Resource Fair. This will be a great event for Veterans seeking employment, learn about VA benefits, health care and much more.

On Sunday Nov. 4th, from 12-4pm at Raymond James Stadium, this exclusive event to military members only and will be held in the East Club. The added bonus to being a part of this event is that it's FREE. Yep, FREE for you and your guest with a free food voucher too.

The Resource Fair will include:
  • Career Fair with Federal, State and local employers
  • Interview skills development and resume assistance
  • On-site VA benefits and health care enrollment
  • Flu shots and medical screening
  • Opportunities to meet Tampa Bay Buccaneers Alumni and Cheerleaders
  • Complimentary food vouchers for you and one guest
Another added bonus other than free entry and free food, Raymond James Stadium will be televising the Buccaneer vs. Oakland game immediately following the Resource Fair.

You will need to enter through Lot B off Himes Avenue and have your Military ID or your DD214. It would also be a great idea to have several copies of your resume. So remember, this is a FREE event, Nov. 4th, 12-4pm at Raymond James Stadium, East Club. For more information contact Kevin Farrell, at Kevin.Farrell1@va.gov. Thanks to the Tampa Bay Bucs and VA Medical Center for putting on this wonderful event. This couldn't come at a better time for Veterans seeking employment with Veterans Day around the corner. Thanks to all Veterans and God Bless America!

  2. I think its really cool that your reaching out to inform veterans about this job fair. Often times when I see panhandlers on the side of the street they have signs that inform us of their veteran status. This is always extremely saddening knowing that an individual who has fought for the freedom of our country is having to beg on the side of the road. With things like this job fair, specifically veterans are given the opportunity to land a job or career; and the resources are pretty much being handed out. I'm sure this post will inform individuals who can then inform more individuals of this opportunity. Hopefully we can get some of those veterans off the streets.
